Fences Don’t Have to Keep Something In?

Most of the time a fence is installed to keep kids or pets in or out of a yard. Sometimes a fence can just block a view. In this case 15 feet of cedar fence blocked the view in and out of this client’s backyard creating more privacy. Installing just a few 8 foot sections of fence can create a visual screen that gives privacy and a sense of design. Adding fence sections between plantings of bushes and evergreens can stretch the budget and increase the style of your yard. This project took just a couple of days to complete. Cedar will last longer and require less maintenance than regular pressure treated wood but will come at about 3x’s the price. Make sure your posts are sunk 24” into the ground and the use of metal brackets to attach cross beams to the posts will make your fence last much longer. Also fences can represent a significant investment. If your building out of pressure treated wood please remember to power wash and stain it every 3 to 4 years. If you do it will increase the potential of your fence lasting 10 to 20 years, if not you will see boards start rotting within 5 to 7 years. We will be glad to handle your deck and fence building, repair and maintenance needs.

Pergolas by definition cover a patio to provide shade where it wasnt previously available.   My company custom built this unit for a client last week.

This pergola was custom designed by my company and pre-built off site as well as pre-stained offsite.  This allowed us to set it up in about 2 days.
We build them super strong (but don’t try this at home) Pic #3
