Bo Railey of Excercise Inc. called me up and asked if he could use my testimonial to help others realize how his group could benefit their exercise goals. I was very excited to help out. I am hopeful that my story can help others take a positive step forward towards their personal fitness goals.

November 19th 2009 at Northview Christian Life Church the second Career Strategies event was held. Almost 200 people came and attended the event. Chris Reed the owner of CREED Improvements and the founder and organizer of Career Strategies stated, “I created this event to help job seekers in central Indiana learn the best practices of job search. We brought together a panel of HR professionals who did a 1 hour question and answer session with the attendees, then attendees got to take 2 of 11 classes offered during 2 break out time periods on a variety of topics key to a successful job search.” Additionally attendees had the opportunity to network with booth sponsors who were companies that could assist job seekers like career coaches, resume writers, recruiters, temp staffing agencies, and more. Here are some quotes taken from attendees, Sue said, “The event was so well organized and offered so much to so many” John said, “Thanks for a little hope to a weary soul…..” Collin stated, “I think, at the least, it provided a large struggling group of people with some great tools and hope”. Additionally Reed stated, “The applause and feedback we received told us we are delivering what is needed. My goal was to bring help, resources and hope to job seekers in the Indianapolis area. My main message to job seekers is to state: Your loss of a job is not the loss of self but just the loss of a role and your most important role is one of father, mother, teacher, friend, spouse etc… you will have many roles in your lifetime but you are needed and loved by many right now. You are valuable, needed and helpful so don’t lose sight of that as you seek out your next business role. Career Strategies is to be held quarterly at NVCL.
